“Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present.” Marcus Aurelius
Imposter syndrome is a common point of discussion and thought among developers at all stages of careers. I’ve personally dealt with it before and have thankfully been able to overcome it. The way I was able to do so is by realizing that I am able to put forth the effort and energy to learn new things. Then applying these new learnings to the task causing those negative emotions.
Today’s quote mirrors this way of thinking. You have faced tough challenges before and in some way survived them. Applying those same techniques can help you face your current challenges. Just as the future is unknown, you must trust that you have the ability to meet it.
